With kindness and compassion, I will meet you where you are and offer a safe place where you can be encouraged as we work together toward overcoming the challenges you face. I offer faith-based counseling for individuals dealing with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and more. We all experience mental health adversities that can change from season to season. Together in session, we will look to the Lord and His guidance combined with effective therapeutic approaches to help you maintain peace as life’s storms come your way.

My Goal as a Christian Counselor
I offer a space where you can feel safe to be yourself and share authentically so you can work toward the goal of feeling safer in your body and mind on a daily basis. We will also work toward healing your relationship with yourself and others. My goal is for you to encounter hope and joy in everyday experiences and to be able to dream and work toward those dreams.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a relaxed, collaborative environment for you to become more aware of your ability to face and overcome adversities. I will meet you where you are and discuss whatever you bring to each session. It can take time to heal; together we will go at the pace the Spirit leads. In our sessions, we will face challenges side-by-side, seeking to uncover where your mind and body may be holding you captive and working toward freedom, with God’s help and enabling.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
Some benefits of taking a Christian approach to counseling include the ability to invite the Holy Spirit as help, getting the chance to connect through prayer, growing more familiar with God’s character and voice, and using a faith-based therapeutic perspective as a tool to inform how we see the world. I believe that because God’s Word tells us to take our thoughts captive, He also provides the strength and ability to do exactly that, with the gracious help and guidance of the Holy Spirit. With God’s leading through Christian counseling, there is an abundance of hope.
Qualifications & Experience
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health with a clinical concentration and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from Liberty University.
My Call to Christian Counseling
I wanted to work with people, create a safe place for them to be themselves, and be a help in a person’s journey to realizing their value and worth, experiencing true joy and peace along the way.
More About Me/On a Personal Note

I love to cook, bake, craft, and host in a way that creates spaces for people to experience joyful moments and feel comfortable being themselves. - Relationship Issues
- Spiritual Development
- Trauma
Anxiety
Anxiety can feel like an inescapable torture, often creating physical pain and a feeling of being trapped. Anxious thoughts and feelings, worries, fears, and panic can begin to take control of our ongoing thoughts and how we choose to act from them. With compassion and kindness, in our sessions we will investigate how anxiety shows up in your life, both mentally and physically, and learn how to take power back from it, gaining freedom and peace along the way.
Depression
If you’re facing depression, you may often feel incredibly isolated, hopeless, and purposeless. Depression is one of the most common mental health challenges in our current culture. You are not alone. Though this is true, it can still show up uniquely for each individual in mind and body. Throughout our sessions, we will seek to identify your experience with depression and, through skills and self-discovery, find a way toward new ways of thinking based on meaning and hope.
Grief and Loss
Grief and loss can be extremely complex and disillusioning, often leading to questions such as “Why?” and “How could it be?” that may not have answers. Every loss, no matter how “big” or “small” it might be, can significantly impact how we experience ourselves and the world around us. Grief has no timeline. Sometimes what is needed is just time to sit and experience the loss. At the pace that best meets you where you are, we will explore your loss and how it may be impacting you on a larger scale, as well as explore, with compassion, what it looks like to honor the loss and adjust to a world without it.
Personal Development
When we feel distant or unknown to ourselves, we can often become even more lost in the effects of mental health difficulties, therefore feeling more out of touch with everyday life and falling into the circular effects of the two. In our fast-paced culture, there can be a lot of pressure to act or be a certain way, losing ourselves and who God has made us uniquely to be. Through the discovery of values and strengths and by taking a look at the relationship with self as well as an honest reflection of various areas in life, we will work together toward a holistic alignment in order to live life as true as possible to yourself and who God has called you to be.
Trauma
Feeling unsafe in your own mind and body can be incredibly exhausting and discouraging. Trauma not only shows up in disordered thoughts and behaviors, but is also heavily stored in our bodies. Through compassionate curiosity, we will work to discover how past events have affected your mind and body’s current maladaptive functioning. In sessions, you will learn skills that will aid toward effective coping as well as gaining freedom from these past events to live a life of hope and looking forward to the future.
