Puyallup – Mon, Thu & Sat
Life has taught me that people cannot give you what they do not have to give. Through these lessons, I have learned to place my faith in the Lord. As a Christian counselor, I have served our nation and am here to serve you through your counseling journey. My education and work and personal experience have blessed me with a wealth of knowledge to help you navigate through the trials and tribulations of life. Allow me to support you on your path toward healing so you can be a blessing to others.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My aim as your counselor is to meet you where you are and help you establish goals and take the necessary steps to accomplish them. My hope is that through our sessions together, you will gain insights into yourself and others around you, become a better communicator, and take charge of your life, with God’s help and direction.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
As your counselor, I will meet you where you are and serve as an accountability partner and support to you. I offer an autonomous experience free of judgment or unrealistic expectations. With genuine spiritual conviction and connection, I will communicate with you openly and honestly throughout the duration of our therapeutic relationship.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
Christian counseling offers the freedom to explore one’s faith in a way that is not forced or manipulated. I believe that faith in Christ can allow individuals to become free of hardships and spiritual bondage. My hope is that through our sessions, you will grow emotionally and spiritually and see God through your own eyes and experiences.
Qualifications & Experience
I received my MA in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, MO, and my BA in Business Management from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, MO. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) and a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDPT).
My Call to Christian Counseling
After attending seminary, I felt led to pursue Christian counseling and took a Christian counseling course.

Anxiety
Anxiety will show up in different ways for everyone. The first step is to identify the underlying issues, then we can work to develop coping skills that are most effective for you. Attempting this on your own can and will feel overwhelming, and often only makes things worse. My approach is to work alongside you to discover those tools and strategies.
Depression
Depression can leave you feeling hopeless and doubtful, but just remember that in Christ, you have the strength to overcome the pain. We all have or will experience depressive thoughts and feelings at some point. The key is knowing what and Who to turn to. I’m here to offer a safe space where we can work through this season and rediscover a better place for you. Your feelings are real and valid, but you do not have to continue feeling this way.
Addiction
Addiction is an issue that affects millions of people worldwide. It can be drugs, alcohol, pornography, or even work. Counseling helps you find the when, where, and how of these addictions. Together we will reclaim your independence, peace, and strength. I have worked with people dealing with many types of addiction by helping them to identify the role this addiction has played in your life and how to move beyond this concern to a more productive life.
Individual Counseling
At some point, each one of us has been in a difficult place, in life searching for some light at the end of a seemingly dark and eternal tunnel. Often we don’t have the strength or motivation to seek out the light on our own. Through individual counseling, we will find practical, effective ways to get you back on track to enjoying the life you both desire an deserve.
Anger Management
Anger is a secondary emotion that is deeply rooted in pain and/or fear. It can manifest itself in any area of our life that is either unidentified or unmanaged. Anger can and will be displayed in our physical, emotional, and spiritual lives. Because anger is a natural emotion, it can range from simple frustration to full blown rage. As we unveil this together, we will strategize methods for the release and replacement of this anger.
